AFTER RAIN studies the rear of a Porsche 356 through rain, darkness and reflected light.

The close crop reveals the sweeping rear bodywork, chrome bumper, engine grille and understated 356 lettering. Thousands of droplets turn the painted surface into texture, catching the city lights without breaking the photograph's restrained monochrome palette.

The image feels tactile rather than polished. Instead of presenting a perfectly lit collector car, AFTER RAIN retains the imperfections of the moment — wet streets, darkness and an automobile temporarily caught beneath the lights.
