ASH VI

ASH VI reduces the portrait almost to silhouette. A narrow field of light catches the profile, neck and shoulder while the remainder disappears into a dense black ground.

Across the skin, fragmented bands and traces emerge only where the light allows them.

The effect is deliberately restrained: first a shape, then texture, and finally a recognisable human presence held within the darkness.
