Fading Profile

Fading Profile moves between portrait and abstraction.

A human presence emerges through fields of charcoal, burnt orange, sand and weathered bone. Scratches, erosion and layered surfaces interrupt the figure, leaving parts visible while others seem to dissolve back into the material.

The profile gradually reveals itself rather than demanding attention — caught somewhere between recognition and disappearance.

The work explores the tension between presence and absence, between what remains visible and what is already fading.
