Smoked amber-orange glass introduces a restrained warmth that mirrors the yellow markings across the black lens barrel. The treatment carries a subtle visual connection to the coloured filters traditionally used by photographers to influence tonal separation in black-and-white photography.

The large negative space gives the artwork a quiet presence in photography studios, editing rooms, creative offices and considered residential interiors. It reads first as a sculptural study in light and form, revealing its photographic identity gradually.
