Photographed at night after rain, the composition isolates the rear quarter of the car against a city reduced to reflections and scattered points of light.

The small tail lamp introduces a subtle warmth into an otherwise near-monochrome image, while chrome details and the 356 lettering provide just enough information to reveal the subject.

There is something almost architectural about the result: curves, lines and negative space become as important as the car itself.
